OSHA Authorized Instructor: Ken Simien Summary:
Students will receive OSHA training to be able to identify the hazards that a worker may encounter in General Industry (CFR 1910). Training emphasizes hazards identification, avoidance, control and prevention.
Class objectives :
- Introduction to OSHA
- Hazard Communications
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Electrical
- Exit routes, Emergency Action Plan, Fire Prevention, and Fire Protection
- Walking and Working Surfaces, including fall protection
- Machine Guarding
- Introduction to Industrial Hygiene Upon of the completion of the course the student will receive an OSHA 10 hour course for General Industry card and certificate of completion of the OSHA 10 hour Training.
This training is recognized by OSHA and the US Dept. of Labor.
Any individual that successfully completes one of the training courses will receive the industry recognized credential of the OSHA 10-Hour wallet card.
